BLAHS #3.1: Down the stretch they come

“A difference of opinion is what makes horse racing and missionaries.”–Will Rogers

With just about 24 hours to go, it’s neck and neck in a tight three-way race.   (And remember girls, not only is ballot box stuffing permitted, I also accept bribes.).  I’ll attempt to close the voting at 5PM EDT Sunday Feb 3, which may not be easy as I am presently in a far distant time zone and don’t even know if I will have internet access.  At any rate, if you missed the initial post and want to know what all the commotion is about, you can review here.  If you don’t have a clue and are too lazy to do the research, don’t worry.   This is like a real election: you don’t have to know squat to vote.

  1. And you can vote more than once obviously 🙂

  2. You have it made anyway, Elke. You are bound to be awarded a future BLAHS for inspiring search term haiku, and without competition!

  3. Did I mention that I can vote, too? And I can still give this to whomever I want! 😛

    • I have assumed that! But you still need to click faster / more often than me, correct? Or do you have some sort of super user access to the poll that allows for setting the values to arbitrary results 😉 ?

  4. You will just have to wait and see, Right now I am at a hacienda 30km outside of Seville, Spain on an internet connection that is slow as a donkey and could drop out at any time. My only ace in the hole is that I make the rules! 😀

    • OK – understood! So you might use one of your equations of everything to calculate the final rank from the poll results, such as: position is proportional to 1/vote 😉 Hacienda in Spain sounds great BTW!

  5. Hey this is no fair. You have a faster internet connection than me! 😦

  6. It’s all over including the counting. Essa wins by a nose. 😀 More to come…

Nice! I have to say, I could only have expected it to end this way. Rock on Mr. Sackler. Rock on.
