  1. Love the pic! My family is from Costa Rica so I may be a little biased 😛

Also, thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my post “5 Little Things That Are Simply Splendid.” I really appreciate the support! I hope you’ll stop by again soon 🙂

  2. Makes me happy! Our older daughter and I were scheduled for at trip to Costa Rica earlier this summer, but the cancellation of a flight put paid to that! We’re rescheduled for December and I’m very much looking forward to it…although since I can’t do handstands, I’ll just have to jump for joy

Thanks for stopping by and enjoying “Puppies.” That will make you smile, too. Stop in again. I always enjoy company.

    • I can’t do handstands either. I have no idea who that guy is–I just got lucky and caught him at the right moment. With the reflection, he looks like a chromosome dividing, don’t you think? Costa Rica was awesome. We are dog lovers in my family–my wife is a vet–and Ridgebacks are rather awesome animals.

      • They certainly are. We’ve had a couple of foster pit bulls who, while maybe not being described as “awesome”, are some of the most loving dogs I’ve ever met. You can read out them on my blog as well, and what we learned from them. Do you have dogs?

      • No, it’s more like they have us. Four of them. If you read my post on Canine Chaos (The Sackler Laws, Part 2) you will see a description of the insanity created by having three Schipperkes in our house. The 4th one is a very sweet Italian Greyhound mix. Very sweet, but not too swift. I describe her as having two neurons and not being able to use both of them at the same time!

Interesting, I have retired here in CR and will probably stay here up in the mountains. I have a new 7? month old Rotweiller mix who followed me home 6 weeks ago and hasn’t left my side since. 44 lbs of fun and the smartest animal I have ever shared space with.

  4. A wonderful country…the people AND the dogs are lovely! 😀
